Xiaomi Mi 9 Full Camera Specs Revealed by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun

Just a few days back, Xiaomi Mi 9 flagship phone real-life images were spotted on Twitter and the smartphone is going to launch on February 20. Today, more detailed specs of the upcoming Xiaomi device have surfaced. The leaked information confirms some of the already rumored features alongside the full camera specifications.

According to the Weibo post by the Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, the upcoming Mi 9 flagship will have a four-lens function in its three cameras. The upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9 will be able to shoot macro, super-wide angle, portrait, and standard photos.

The primary camera is a 48MP Sony IMX586 wide-angle sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and 6P lens. This primary sensor of Mi 9 will have a large 1/2-inch photosensitive area and it will be able to take high-resolution photos.

The second camera is a 12MP f/2.2 sensor with 2x optical zoom and a 6P lens which will provide background blur effect to the portrait images. The third camera is a 16MP super-wide angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 117° viewing angle. Up front, the waterdrop notch houses 20-megapixel selfie camera with some great features.

In Weibo, Lei Jun also shared a few camera samples of the Xiaomi Mi 9.

Earlier leaks and rumors confirmed that the Mi 9 will come with Qualcomm ‘s Snapdragon 855 chipset, in-display fingerprint scanner and could be powered by a 3500mAh battery.
