Xiaomi’s highly anticipated smartphone Mi Mix 3 which was expected to arrive on October 15 and now it came in the form of an event poster confirming its launch date on October 25 at an event in Beijing published by the company on Weibo, China’s micro-blogging platform.

The company put an end to the numerous leaks about its launch date by releasing a teaser of the Mi MIX 3. The Mi MIX 3, as teased by Xiaomi’s Global Spokesperson and Director of Product Management, Donovan Sung, will borrow design elements of Oppo Find X and Vivo NEX this year. It is expected to come with feature a slide-out camera module and thus enable a truly bezel-less design. By this, the company may achieve 100% screen-to-body front. There’s also the technical possibility that the display is sliding and the back is stationary, well this depends on your perspective.

To recollect, the Xiaomi is one of the early adopters of full-screen design with its  Mi Mix smartphone that brought a new era of a comprehensive screen to body ratio. The company took it to next level with Mi Mix 2 with the improved design. As of now, we don’t have a clear-cut specification details the phone but as per recent rendered images we came to know that Mi Mix 3 come in four different colours.

As per recent reports, we heard that the Mi Mix 3 might arrive with AI dedicated button that will activate Xiao AI. The service came preloaded with Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, but this is the first time Xiaomi is implementing a hardware solution for its assistant.

Moving to the configurations, the device is expected to feature a slider AMOLED display on the front. Being a flagship device, it should bring the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood. The device is speculated to offer up to 8GB of RAM, dedicated AI button and in-display fingerprint sensor.  Besides, we don’t know much about its camera and rest of the specs.

Meanwhile, The Mi Mix 2 was announced with 5.99-inch 1080 x 2160 pixel Full HD+ IPS LCD display, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 GPU, up to 8GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage, runs on Android 7.1 Nougat, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, and 3,400 mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
