Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 launched with under-screen camera & Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC

A new Mi Mix 4 device has been announced by Xiaomi. Mi Mix 4 is the latest Xiaomi smartphone under the Mix series. The key highlight of the phone is its ceramic body, an under-screen camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, and a curved AMOLED display. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Pricing, Availability

It is available in four variants. Prices for the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models are RMB 4,999 (roughly Rs 57,400) and RMB 5,299 (roughly Rs 60,850), respectively whereas the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants comes with a price tag of RMB 5,799 (Rs 66,600) and RMB 6,299 (roughly Rs 72,300), respectively.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Specifications, Features

The Xiaomi Mix 4 is the company’s first smartphone to have an under-screen camera. Xiaomi calls it the Camera Under Panel (CUP) technology. Under the display, you’ll find a 20MP CUP front camera. The company claims that the CUP provides 400 PPI seamless viewing in the camera zone, matching the pixel density, brightness, and colour detail of the surrounding screen. 

Mi Mix 4 flaunts a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, support for 10-bit colour, HDR10+ along with Dolby Vision and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It features Harmon Kardon-tuned dual speakers, Hi-Res Audio support. 

Snapdragon 888 Plus can be found under the hood. It comes with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB/ 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. Powered by a 4,500 mAh battery, the phone supports 120W fast charging. Additionally, it supports 50W wireless fast charging. It comes with a Boost mode that charges the device within 15 minutes with wired charging. 

There are three cameras on the back of the phone. It is equipped with a 108MP 1/1.33-inch HMX sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13MP ultrawide sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom, 50x digital zoom that also supports OIS.
