Xiaomi Redmi 10C launched with Snapdragon 680 SoC, 50MP camera

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi announced its latest Redmi 10 series smartphone, the Redmi 10C. It is the successor to the last year’s Redmi 9C smartphone.

According to rumours, the Redmi 10C will be rebranded as the Redmi 10 in India. The Redmi 10 is set to launch in India on March 17. There is also speculation that the same phone could also be rebranded in India as the POCO C4. Both the Redmi 10 and POCO C4 are expected to land in India by March or April.

Xiaomi Redmi 10C pricing and availability

In Nigeria, the Redmi 10C is available in black, blue, and green colours. Talking about the pricing, the 4GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant is priced at NGN 78,000 (approx. Rs 14,418) whereas the 4GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant is available with a price tag of NGN 87,000 (approx. Rs 16,081).

Xiaomi Redmi 10C specifications

Redmi 10C carries a 6.71-inch LCD display. Xiaomi has not revealed any details about the device’s specs, so we do not know whether it is HD+ or FHD+ display. It comes preloaded with Android 11 OS-based MIUI 13.

The Redmi 10C is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, up to 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB/128 GB of storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot. Battery capacity is 5,000mAh, which supports 10W charging.

There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on the Redmi 10C. A 50-MP primary camera is combined with a 2-MP secondary camera for the rear camera setup. The phone’s other specifications have not been revealed.
