Xiaomi has launched Redmi 8A Pro in Indonesia. The Redmi 8A Pro is likely to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 8A Dual that was launched in India earlier this year. The latest entrant to the Redmi series has just gone official in the Indonesian market.
Xiaomi Redmi 8A Pro Specifications
Redmi 8A Pro sports a 6.22-inch (720×1,520 pixels) HD+ display with a pixel density of 270ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset, coupled with 2GB/3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Moving onto the cameras, the Redmi 8A Pro comes equipped with dual cameras on the rear. As for sensors, we get a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture while the secondary is a 2-megapixel shooter with f/2.4 aperture. On the front of the phone, we have an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens.
The handset runs Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 11 out of the box and there’s a 5000mAh battery backing the entire package. The phone also has 18W fast charging. The handset measures 156.48×75.41×9.4mm in size and weigh 188 grams. Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. It has an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass, and accelerometer.
Xiaomi Redmi 8A Pro Price
Redmi 8A Pro is launched in two configurations: 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The 2GB RAM variant is priced at IDR 1,549,000 (approx. Rs. 7,100) whereas the 3GB RAM model costs IDR 1,649,000 (approx. Rs. 7,600). It will go on sale in three colors: Midnight Grey, Sea Blue, and Sky White.
