Xiaomi Sends Out Invites for the Official Launch of Mi Max 3 Phablet on July 19

After several leaks and multiple live photos, the Mi Max 3 appears to have finally received an official release date. Rendering numerous posts on Weibo, the Xiaomi’s Mi Max 3 smartphone will launch this month.

As Xiaomi is now geared up to announce Mi Max 3 device on July 19th, they have sent out an invite for the launch of the device, and some confirmations of the same have appeared on the Chinese site Weibo. Some of the posts include a white outline of a phone that could be the Mi Max 3, one that is expected to announce in the event.

An account named Millet Phone, posted a photo shows a hint image of the phone with the Chinese label on it, which when translated, reads: “Big screen mobile phone is ………?”. A much smaller print on the bottom reads: “A good news will be shared tomorrow morning”. While the devices, for now, remain a mystery, there is a better chance of announcing the much-rumored Mi Max 3 phablet.

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Rumored Specifications and Features

Unannounced Mi Max 3 is rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC and expected to release with the 3 variants, include 32GB+3GB, 64GB+4GB, and 128GB+6GB. The leaks suggest that the smartphone will come with a metal body and fingerprint sensor on the back.

This Mi Max 3 phablet expected to feature a dual-camera setup on the back. The sensors will be backed by AI-powered features like intelligent scene recognition and Portrait mode. The front of the Mi Max 3 phablet could have an 8MP selfie camera with AI Face Unlock and AI Portrait mode features.

Some leaks suggest that the phablet will come with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ IPS panel with 1080 x 2160 resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio and a massive 5500 mAh battery with fast charging support.

Another phablet Mi Max 3 Pro seems to sport similar specifications of Mi Max 3. But it is expected to be the slightly more powerful variant as it is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
