Xiaomi True Wireless Earphones officially teased, to launch on May 8

Xiaomi has now teased its upcoming new True Wireless earphones. Earlier, the company announced that it would be launching a Mi 10 smartphone with a 108-megapixel camera in India on May 8. In a new tweet by Xiaomi’ India head Manu Kumar Jain, it has been revealed that the true wireless earphone will launch alongside the Mi 10 on May 8.

Unfortunately, the brand hasn’t disclosed which product is going to launch in India. Recently, the brand has unveiled several earphones including AirDots Pro 2, Mi True Wireless Earphones 2, Mi AirDots Pro 2s wireless earphones with Bluetooth 5.0 in China, and in some other countries as well.

To recall the features of Mi True Wireless Earphones 2, it comes with a 14.2mm drivers with a large composite dynamic coil that the brand delivers high-quality sound. It has a charging case that supports charging via USB Type-C. The brand claims that Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 will be charged fully within one hour and claims to deliver 14 hours of battery life in a single charge.

It comes with support for Bluetooth 5.0 and touch gestures to control music playback, answering calls, and enabling voice assistant. There is also an ENC for noise cancellation and an optical sensor for in-ear detection.

Speaking about the Mi AirDots Pro 2s, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 (LDHC/SBC/AAC codes) to connect to Android and iOS phones. The earphone has 14.2mm drivers and comes equipped with support for several features like voice control and dual microphones array noise reduction technology. 

Redmi Air Dots S also comes equipped with a 7.2mm driver and DSP noise-canceling. It has support for touch controls for music playback and activating voice assistants The brand claims that new earbuds will deliver 4 hours on a single charge and the case can extend it to 12 hours. It is IPX4 rated which means the new Redmi AIr Dots S is splash resistant.
