Now, the Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi set to launch 100W Super Charge Turbo Technology that can fully charge in just 17 minutes.

General Manager of Xiaomi’s new sub-brand Redmi Mr. Lu Weibing, shared a video on his Weibo account, demonstrating the capabilities of Xiaomi’s latest innovation in the mobile charging. As you can see in the video above, the smartphone with a 4,000 mAh battery and the Super Charge Turbo technology competing against an Oppo device with a 3,700 mAh battery and the Oppo’s own SuperVOOC technology.

Xiaomi’s 100W Super Charge Turbo, a fast charging technology charged a 4,000 mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 17 minutes, whereas the Oppo phone managed to reach only 65% of a relatively smaller battery. However, Oppo’s 50W SuperVOOC technology is also impressive as you practically charged half of the device battery capacity within 15 minutes. But, the video shows how the Xiaomi’s new 100W Super Charge Turbo technology twice faster than the OPPO’s SuperVOOC technology.

For now, there is no information on when the new technology could show up in the company’s commercial products. The reports suggest that the Xiaomi might make some announcement about it today.
