Samsung Galaxy A50 spotted on Geekbench listing

It seems like Samsung is having hectic 2019 with its upcoming smartphones. We had already experienced various reports suggesting the Samsung upcoming smartphones in 2019 including the Galaxy foldable smartphone, the flagship Galaxy S10 series, and the affordable Galaxy M series, And now there are new reports on Samsung’s another variant is on works. The new smartphone would come under the Galaxy A series of smartphones, that means there is another premium midrange smartphone included in the Samsung upcoming smartphone list.

As we already know Samsung s gearing up to unveil its most premium midrange smartphone Galaxy A8s and now a new report suggests that the company is working on Galaxy A50 smartphone. The upcoming Samsung smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench.

The handset with a model number SM-A505F has been spotted with an Exynos 7 9610 chipset. This is a 10nm SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores (2.3GHz) and four A53 (1.6GHz). The GPU is a Mali-G72 MP3. The chipset had been gone multi-core test on the benchmarking platform, the device has received a score of 4380 points and 1615 points in the single-core test. The single core speed comparable to a Snapdragon 660, though multi-core performance is closer to the Snapdragon 636.

 

One more interesting information is that the phone runs on  Android 9 Pie that is a great transition as still there are smartphones(Galaxy M-series) have been benchmarked with Oreo. Even flagship smartphones from Samsung, namely the Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note 9, are yet to get official Android Pie update.

And last, The Galaxy A50 packed 4GB of RAM which is expected to come in two memory combinations namely 64GB and 128GB and might be limited to certain markets.
