However, the company always tests the new features on the WhatsApp beta mode before rolling them out to all its users. #1 Dark Mode on WhatsApp
New ‘dark mode’ will use a dark grey background color. This new dark setting provides the user with a darker UI and it will give the improved readability of text and the better contrast in the app.
#2 Fingerprint Authentication on WhatsApp
Fingerprint Authentication feature is also there in the new WhatsApp Beta update. Users can enable it in Settings >Account >Privacy > Use Fingerprint to Unlock after registering your fingerprint. After enabling the fingerprint on WhatsApp, you can configure when the Authentication feature should lock the app: Immediately, After 1 minute, After 10 minutes or after 30 minutes.
#3 Better PiP Mode on WhatsApp
WhatsApp has introduced the PiP mode last year which lets the user watch video content from third-party apps within the WhatsApp, without the need to move outside the chat window. But, as per the new report, the company is working to improve the PiP mode even better.
#4 Consecutive Voice Messages on WhatsApp
The new consecutive voice messages on WhatsApp feature allows for auto-playing of two or more voice messages sent one after the other. All the all consecutive voice messages will be played as a sequence after you play the first one and it won’t be necessary to tap on the play button on each message.
#5 Forwarding Info on WhatsApp
This feature is available in the info section for messages. Now, users can see if their messages have been delivered or read. The new update will show if the sent message has been forwarded and also the number of times. As per the report, “the Forwarding Info feature does not seem available when a message is set as frequently forwarded, so when it has been forwarded 5 times or more.”
#6 Frequently Forwarded on WhatsApp
As you know, the current version of the WhatsApp shows a label for every forwarded message on the top of the message. Now, the latest beta update shows the messages which have been forwarded more than four times, WhatsApp will show the ‘frequently forwarded’ label on top.
