Alleged iQOO U3x smartphone with model number V2106A has been approved by China’s TENAA and 3C regulatory bodies. Both certifications have revealed few key details of the device.
The TENAA listing reveals quite a few key specs of the upcoming iQOO smartphone, along with the fact that it will come with a 6.58-inch display with a teardrop notch and measures 164.5 x 75.35 x 8.4mm. The listing also states that the iQOO U3x will house a 4,910mAh rated battery, which suggests that its typical capacity could be 5,000mAh. The device’s 3C certification earlier showed that it will support 18W fast charging as well.
The report also claims that the phone will feature a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. Apart from this, the TENAA listing suggested that the phone will come equipped with Android 11 OS out of the box. The handset also sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The report suggests that the iQOO U3x will be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y31s 5G, which was announced in China in January. The device is tipped to flaunt a display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate support. In terms of optics, the phone reportedly packs a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear alongside a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel for selfies.
Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 480 SoC with 4GB/6GB of RAM and internal storage of 128 GB. As far as the price of the phone is concerned, it is likely to arrive with an affordable price tag of around 1,000 Yuan (approx. Rs 11,143) in China. However, do note that the smartphone maker is yet to reveal anything officially about the phone and we recommend you to take this with a grain of salt.
