Multiple variants of an upcoming Xiaomi phone with the model numbers M1908C3IE and M1908C3IC have been certified by 3C database. While the 3C certification listing of the new Xiaomi device doesn’t reveal anything of substance about the phone, it does mention that the smartphone will come with an 18W charger. Apart from that, the 3C approval did not reveal any information on the specifications of the phone.

In a separate post, a report from Playfuldroid suggests that the Redmi Note 8 might launch with MediaTek Helio G90T SoC under the hood. Besides, Recently, Managing Director of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain confirmed that Xiaomi’s Helio G90T-powered device would be launched soon. Xiaomi also made this announcement right after the MediaTek Helio G90T and G90 launch.

Earlier reports already confirmed that the company is working on the smartphone with a 64-megapixel camera and if the rumours are to be believed, then we might see the 64-megapixel primary sensor on the upcoming Redmi Note 8. Moreover, a leaked render of the phone also shows Note 8 will have four cameras on the rear. It shows a three-camera sensor placed vertically along with an LED flash and a fourth sensor on their right side.

Nothing else is known about the Redmi Note 8 at this point. It is expected to come with a pop-up selfie camera and in-display fingerprint sensor. We will bring you more updates as and when they emerge, so stay tuned and keep visiting DigitalWebReview.
