And the troll repeats: Samsung trolls Apple again

The Apple which is known for making unique handsets and with the launch of most awaited iPhone X it hit its record again, Samsung’s newest ad uses the opportunity to make a mockery of the iPhone products.

Samsung is one brand which has never shied from blowing its own trumpet and more so when it comes to comparisons with arch-rival Apple. Over the years, this company is known to take digs on  Cupertino’s giant Apple with its odd advertisements by holding a grudge for a long time.

Samsung’s latest advertisement, a TV ad which shows how the Samsung Galaxy S9’s download speeds are better than that of the Apple iPhone X.

In the ad we see a young woman visiting an Apple store pondering over whether to buy the iPhone X or not. She asks a salesman – and no, he doesn’t have a notch-shaped haircut – whether the iPhone X’s download speeds are fast enough or not. The eager salesman duly informs the woman that the iPhone X offers faster speed than the iPhone 8. But the woman is clearly aware that the speed of iPhone X is “not faster than that of Samsung Galaxy 9.” To this riposte, the salesman literally and figuratively gets tongue tied and has no answer to give.

It gives clear intention of Samsung: upgrade to Galaxy. Interestingly, the ad comes days after it was reported that the Galaxy S9 sales weren’t up to the mark.

Earlier this month, Samsung announced its second-quarter numbers and analysts had pointed out that the S9 sales were “poor.” In fact, it was pointed out that the S9 had sold the fewest number of Galaxy S series handsets since 2012 (the year Galaxy S3 was launched).

Even Samsung is promoting its S9 sales by announcing huge discounts on its premium phones. And here is what the company is expecting is it still wants users to “upgrade to Galaxy” if the latest ad is anything to go by. For more updates stay tuned.
