The ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro will be launched in India on February 15 at 12PM. The Taiwanese company Asus has announced the launch date via its social media handles. On the company’s YouTube channel, the virtual event will be live-streamed. A microsite for the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro is also live on Flipkart confirming its availability on the platform.
Asus hasn’t disclosed any other details about the phone. It remains to be seen whether the Indian variants will be as powerful as those announced in August last year.

Asus ROG Phone 5s Series Specifications
Asus ROG Phone 5s series devices come with a 6.78-inch full-HD+ Samsung AMOLED screen with 1080 x 2448 pixels resolution, an aspect ratio of 20.4:9, 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch-sampling rate, 1ms response rate, HDR10+ and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. They are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, Adreno 660 GPU, 18GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
With a 6000mAh battery and 65W HyperCharge fast charging capability, the devices can charge 70% in 30 minutes and 100% in 52 minutes. There is an in-screen fingerprint sensor on both devices. They run Android 11 OS out of the box.
There are three cameras on the rear of the ROG Phone 5, including a 64-megapixel primary sensor with ultra-wide-angle and a 5-megapixel macro lens. It also has a 24-megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, the device offers 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-SIM, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device measures 173 x 77 x 9.90mm and weighs 238grams. Other features include dual front-facing stereo speakers and ultrasonic sensors for AirTrigger 5 and grip press.
Both devices have the same specification, but the ROG Phone 5s Pro has an additional PAMOLED ROG Vision display. This display shows you notifications about incoming calls, battery status, etc. The ROG Phone 5 Ultimate had a monochrome display, while the ROG Phone 5s Pro has a colour display. Additionally, the 5s Pro comes with two touch sensors on the back for gaming controls. The ROG Phone 5s doesn’t come with this feature.
Moreover, the Pro model includes an AeroActive Cooler 5. This accessory straps on a cooling fan to the device, along with two additional buttons.
