Asus announced the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro across the globe and in India. They feature up to 18GB of RAM, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 6000mAh battery, and 165Hz high refresh rate displays.

The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Asus ROG Phone 6 is priced at Rs 71,999. Talking about the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro, it comes in a single 18GB RAM + 512GB storage model that costs Rs 89,999.
The details of the sale and availability of the smartphones will be revealed later through the company’s social media platforms. There are two colour options for the Asus ROG Phone 6 include Phantom Black and Storm White. The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro comes in a single Storm White colour.

Asus ROG Phone 6 series has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1,080×2,448 pixels, 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, 1ms response time, 23ms touch latency, HDR10+ support, and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. In addition, the display is powered by a Pixelworks i6 processor.
In addition, the Pro model has a small PMOLED display on the back panel with ROG Vision, whereas the Asus ROG Phone 6 only has a glowing ROG logo.
They both use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. In the ROG Phone 6, you’ll find 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and in the ROG Phone Pro, you’ll find 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. All other specs of the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro are the same.
Asus uses the GameCool 6 cooling system for both smartphones. It features a redesigned, 360-degree CPU cooling system for better heat dissipation. Compared to the previous generation, performance has increased by up to 10 degrees Celsius, according to the manufacturer.
ROG Phone 6 series comes with three rear cameras: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 125 degrees of field of view, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. There is a 12-megapixel front camera on the smartphones.
Both the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro feature 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and two USB Type-C ports. Additionally, there are in-display fingerprint sensors and ultrasonic sensors on the right spine of the smartphones for AirTrigger 6 and grip press.
