Alongside the Xiaomi 12S series, Mi Band 7, the Chinese brand Xiaomi has launched a new laptop series called Xiaomi Book Pro 2022. It comes in two sizes – 14-inch and 16-inch.

Talking about the pricing, the Redmi Book Pro 14-inch variant price starts at CNY 5,899 (roughly Rs 69,500) whereas the pricing for the 16-inch variant starts at CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs 76,500). Currently, both laptops are available in China.
Xiaomi Book Pro 2022 Specifications
The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 2022 features a flagship E4 OLED screen with a self-developed 3D LUT color correction algorithm. The display offers a 2880×1800 pixels screen resolution, with up to 90% screen-to-body ratio, a 16:10 aspect ratio, peak brightness of up to 600nits and supports 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and 100% sRGB color gamut.
Performance-wise, Xiaomi Book Pro has two processor options – Intel Core i5-1240P and the Core i7-1260P, both of which are available in either a 14-inch or 16-inch display. In addition, all variants come with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, along with Intel Evo certification.
It also comes with AMD RX550M and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 GPUs, available in both models. Furthermore, Xiaomi claims that the laptop has CNC machined aluminum bodies.
There is a 70Wh battery with support for up to 100W fast charging via USB-C. Other features include a backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key travel. It ships with Windows 11. It has a linear haptic motor for feedback and multi-gesture support on its trackpad.
It measures 14.9mm in thickness. A 14-inch laptop weighs 1.5kg, whereas a 16-inch laptop weighs 1.8kg.
