Now the successor of this device named ‘Zenfone Max Pro M2’ is leaked several times, is set to create another hype in the smartphone market. Indonesia will be the first market that the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be unveiled in globally and it is set for debut on December 11.
Indonesia handle of Asus tweeted a teaser for the launch date, and based on the caption, upcoming Zenfone Max Pro M2 seems to be an affordable gaming smartphone. The tweet also reveals that Asus will be live streaming the event. Now, a render of the front panel has also surfaced (by XDA Developers), and it shows an edge-to-edge display with a notch on top.

Earlier this week, the device leaked by popular leakster and he revealed that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 will bear a model number ASUS_X01BD_1/ZB631KL, and it will launch with some upgraded hardware and features. According to the report, the Zenfone Max Pro 2 is expected to feature a 6-inch FHD+ display. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and an internal storage option of 64GB and 128GB. Another highlight of the smartphone is said to be the triple camera setup on the back. The primary shooter of the rear camera is speculated to be of 13MP resolution.
Miserably, there is no confirmation about the triple camera setup and the ‘triple cam’ could be a dual rear camera setup and a single front camera. So, we will have to wait for a few more weeks for the leaks.
