Vivo’s Upcoming Smartphone Vivo 1817 Spotted On Benchmarking Website

The new Vivo smartphone rumored to be the entry-level phone has been spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench. The Chinese company may be gearing up to launch another entry-level smartphone. The Geekbench listing has revealed some key information about the device.

The listing in the benchmarking site revealed by GSMArena reveals that the Vivo’s upcoming phone with a model number Vivo 1817 scored 879 points in single-core test and 3261 in multi-core test. According to the benchmark listing, the Vivo 1817 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. This chipset seems to be a Snapdragon 439. On the software front, the device will run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Recently, Vivo launched the X23 Symphony Edition in China. The original model was released a few days earlier and in the Symphony edition, Vivo has made certain changes in terms of processor, RAM, and front camera in the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition, compared to the original model. The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition sports a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED Full-HD display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels pixel. The smartphone has 2.5D curved tempered glass protection with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 6 GB of RAM. It comes with a 128GB of internal storage and there is no slot for further expansion of the storage.

In terms of optics, Vivo X23 Symphony Edition has a dual rear camera setup that comprises a 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 13-megapixel sensor with a f/2.4 aperture and 125-degree super wide-angle lens. Up front, there is a 24.8-megapixel selfie camera. Under the hood, the device comes with 3,400mAh battery.
