BlackBerry Evolve sale from October 10 on Amazon India:Everthing you need to know

Optiemus Infracom, a homegrown company which distributes Blackberry handsets in our country is all set to go on sale on Amazon India from October 10, stated by the corporate in a press meet. To be said this phone is announced nearly two months ago that is the on first week of August, but the company delayed the sale which is supposed to hit the score that month.

The phone will be made available via offline stores soon after its Amazon India availability. The company had also detailed launch offers, include 5 per cent cashback with ICICI Bank credit cards (only on no-cost EMI plans).In addition, there aisno cost EMI options are available from all leading banks. Benefits worth Rs. 3,950 are available for Jio SIM card users.

To recollect, the company’s X-series BlackBerry Evolve X was also launched by the company alongside, and that was due to be made available in mid-September. It costs Rs 34,990.

Specifications and features:

The Blackberry Evolve gets a 5.99-inch Full View display, with a 1080×2060 pixel resolution. The company claims that the smartphone boasts a peak brightness of 500 nits and the glass gets a oleophobic coating to keep smudges to a minimum. The smartphone is armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and coupled with a 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage.

On the imaging duties, the Evolve has dual rear cameras – a 12+13 MP combo with a f/1.8 + f/2.6 aperture respectively. The pixel size is 1.4 um and 1.0 um respectively. On the front, it sports a 16MP f/2.2 lens with front flash and a 178-degree FoV. Interestingly, the Blackberry uses tetra-pixel binning tech for better low light performance along with real-time bokeh. The phone is backed up by a fingerprint sensor where the front camera also does the face unlock job.

The phone ticks all by a4000 mAH battery and BlackBerry-specific software power management settings also packs some secure features such as root protection, a hardened Android fork, secure boot, the disk security app, a password keeper, privacy shade among others. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Software features also include a dark mode, productivity tab and the BlackBerry Hub unified messaging section.
