To Challenge Amazon Prime services in India, Flipkart has announced loyalty program named Flipkart Plus, which will launch on August 15.
Flipkart Plus is a new service from Flipkart, same as the Amazon Prime. But includes some additional features, which will enable customers to earn ‘Plus Coins’ from which they can avail benefits across shopping, travel, and content on the platform. Furthermore, it will also offer members fast and free delivery, early access to sales, and much more.
Amazon also has a Prime subscription from long that offers free shipping, early access to special sales and Amazon Prime video, Amazon Prime music service. The membership subscription of Amazon costs Rs 999 per year. Additionally, users can also subscribe to a one-month plan by paying Rs 129.
Flipkart has partnered with several companies including Hotstar, Zomato, MakeMyTrip and Café Coffee Day to offer customers a number of benefits. Additionally, the company will be offering the Flipkart Plus benefits across its other companies like PhonePe and Myntra.

Every time you make a purchase worth Rs. 250 or more on Flipkart, you will get 1 Plus coin. You can only get a maximum of 10 coins per purchase. To get 50 Plus coins, you will have to make purchases of Rs. 12,500 totally. All the Plus coins are valid for a year from the date of credit. For instance, if you got the coins on 20th of a month, the coins will be valid till the 20th of the same month next year.
