The new Jio phone 2 Registration will commence on this Independence day August 15. The Reliance Jio announced its JioPhone 2 on its Annual General Meeting this year.
The new phone is expected to be smarter and efficient than its predecessor. As far as specifications concerned, the new smartphone 2 is also going to be pricier than the JioPhone.The company says that after completing registration the buyers need to wait more one week to get hands-on experience.
For now, the Jiophone has already acquired a great response to the phone with such a cheapest price. And now the new Jiophone 2could shake the feature phone once again in the market.
The buyers can book the phone by heading to Jio’s official site or via MyJio app. On clicking the JioPhone 2 registration page you will find a ‘Get Now’ option tap on it. Following this, you will be asked for your personal details like name, contact number and address etc.
Users should aware that there is no cash or delivery option on the respective page. You need pay entire 2999 amount via net banking or credit/debit card payments. There is no info regarding shipping details and claims that it would take few days to deliver phone following the payment.

At the meeting itself, the company announced about the Jio Phone Monsoon Hungama offer under which existing feature phone users will be able to exchange their current device for the older Jio Phone for just Rs. 501.

The handset sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display. It runs on KAI operating system and comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. There is storage expandable option via micro SD slot(up to 128GB). It has a dual camera setup a 2MP rear camera sensor and a VGA front camera sensor. The phone packs a 2,000mAh battery backup. Connectivity options on the phone include VoLTE, VoWiFi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM radio. It supports LTE Cat4 DL: 150Mbps/UL: 50Mbps, and LTE Band 2,5,40, 2G Band 900/1800.
JioPhone 2 Apps compatibility:
The JioPhone recently got support for a number of apps, including WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, and Google Maps. A same will be supported by the new phone.
