Google is planning to launch the new pixel series smartphones Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL in Google I/O, The Annual Developers Conference on May 7th. It is also expected that Google will also bring Pixel 4 series in the market anytime this year.
According to the official renders which came out, Google Pixel 3a comes with a Snapdragon 670 and Pixel 3a XL to sport Snapdragon 710 chipset. It can also be observed that the phone got large bezels with no display cutouts.
The leaked renders also suggest that both the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will get a 3.5mm headphone jack and a single selfie camera. With simple designs, both smartphones look similar.
Pixel 3a is expected to come with a 5.6-inch display with 1080×2160 pixels resolution and the XL is expected to come with a 6.0-inch display with same 1080×2160 pixels resolution. Both the smartphones are expected to be backed with 4GB of RAM and run Android 9 Pie OS.
Both the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will be featured with a 12-MP camera same as the Pixel 3. These base variants of these smartphones are expected to be packed with 3,000mAh battery and the bigger variants are expected to come with 3,500mAh battery approximately.
Both smartphones will come in white or black color variants. The next-gen flagship from Google, Pixel 4 will be powered with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and will be reaching the Indian markets this year. According to some online reports, The upcoming Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL are codenamed as Coral and Flame.
There’s no official statement on the price of these smartphones, but according to multiple leaks, we can assume that the Pixel 3a as a budget smartphone and will be price around accordingly. As we already know that the budget and mid-range smartphones are very competitive. Google’s pricing of Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will decide it’s future scope in this segment.
