Honor 9X India Launch Teased By Company On Twitter

Chinese electronics company Huawei unveiled Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro smartphones back in July last year in China, now the company might announce the launch of new Honor 9X smartphone in India soon.

The brand today teased the arrival of the new X-series smartphone in India. Although there are no details revealed about the launch, the tweet by Honor India does mention ‘Can’t forget your X? Neither can we. It’s a good thing that we have someone new to fall in love with all over again! ’.

At the moment, all we know is the Honor 9X coming to the Indian market after nearly 5 months of its global launch alongside the 9X Pro. The Honor India didn’t reveal any further detail about the upcoming Honor smartphone.

In the meantime, Indian e-commerce site Flipkart also started teasing the Honor 9X smartphone which further confirms that the phone will be exclusively available for buyers on the platform.

Honor 9X is already available in China with price starting from 1399 Yuan (roughly Rs 14,175) for the base variant with 4GB RAM + 64GB, while the A 6GB RAM + 64GB, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage models sell at 1599 yuan (approx. Rs 16,020) and 1899 yuan (approx. 19,025) respectively. At this price, Honor 9X will compete with the likes of Realme 5 Pro, Realme X2, and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Honor 9X comes in Midnight Black, Blue, and Red color options.

The Honor 9X boasts a 6.59-inch LCD display panel with an FHD+ resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The Kirin 810 octa-core chipset fuels the smartphone with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage.

The rear panel of the phone has a vertical dual camera setup with a 48MP and 2MP sensors. The front-facing pop-up mechanism houses a 16MP camera. The handset is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth 5, GPS, Wi-Fi, and dual SIM card slots.
