Honor Play 3e Budget Phone Launched

Popular Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has launched Honor Play 3e. It is a toned-down version of the Honor Play 3 which was launched in China earlier this month. The key highlights of the Honor Play 3e include Mediatek Helio P22, waterdrop notched display, Mediatek Helio P22 SoC and the affordable price tag.

Speaking on the display of the Honor Play 3e, it is a 5.71-inches display with a waterdrop notch. The Honor Play 3e is fuelled by an octa-core Mediatek Helio P22 chipset and it is paired by a 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

It has a single 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

It will be running on the Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9.1 skin. The handset is backed by a 3,020mAh battery. It comes with support for 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS,3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM and micro USB port.

Honor Play 3e Price and Availability

As for the pricing, the Honor Play 3e costs 699 Yuan (approx. Rs 7,077) for the base variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage whereas the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model priced at 899 Yuan (approx. Rs 9,100). It will be available in Magic Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Platinum Gold.
