Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched its new Play series smartphone Honor Play 8 in China. This is the third smartphone in the Honor Play lineup after Honor Play 8A and Honor Play 8C. This newly launched smartphone in this series is also a budget smartphone as the Play 8A and Play 8C.

Honor Play 8 Specifications

Honor Play 8 comes with a  5.71-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with 720×1520 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The internal storage of the device can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.

The phone comes with a 13MP single camera on the back with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front for selfies. It houses a 3,020mAh battery and runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top. The connectivity options of the phone include a Micro-USB port, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and 4G VoLTE.

Honor Play 8 Price

The price of Honor Play 8 is CNY 599 (Rs. 6,000 Approx) as posted on Honor China’s official Weibo account. It is made available in Aurora Blue and Midnight Black colour options.

The device is already available to buy on the company’s Vmall store and other major online retailers in China. The launch information of outside China is not yet revealed but we can expect this in the coming days.
