Huawei finally unveiled the Honor Play4 series in China that includes two new smartphones: Honor Play4 and Honor Play4 Pro. The key highlights of the phones include the IR Temperature sensor and liquid cooling. Read on to know about the specifications, features, price of the Honor Play4 series.

Honor Play4 Series Price, Availability

The Honor Play4 series is already up for pre-orders in China. The base variant of the Honor Play4 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 1,799 Yuan (approx. Rs 19,071) while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs and 1,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 21192). On the other hand, the Honor Play4 Pro comes with a price tag of 2,899 Yuan (approx. Rs 30733) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the special version with the IR temperature sensor costs 2,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 31,793).

Honor Play4 Specifications

It has a 6.71-inch FHD display with a single punch hole selfie camera. The Honor Play4 packs MediaTek’s Dimensity 800 5G chipset.

In terms of optics, the device sports a quad-camera setup on the rear that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth of field sensor.

The Honor Play4 also has a VC liquid cooling technology and a 12 layer heat dissipation structure. The device gets juice from a 4,300mAh battery that supports fast-charging up to 22.5W. It will be available in three colors: Iceland Phantom, Phantom Blue, and Phantom Night Black.

Honor Play4 Pro Specifications

The Honor Play4 Pro features a 6.81-inch display with a dual punch-hole selfie camera. Under the hood, it is fuelled by HiSilicon’s Kirin 990 5G SoC that supports dual-mode 5G. 

The dual punch-hole sports on the front consists of 32 megapixels and 8 megapixels cameras. On the rear, there is a dual-camera setup of a 40-megapixel Sony IMX600 RYYB sensor along with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Ticking all these is a 4,200mAh battery that supports up to 40W fast charging which claims to charge 70% in just 30 minutes. On the software front, the handset runs Magic UI 3.0. It will be available in three color variants: Mecha Blue, Icelandic Illusion and Fantasy Night Black.
