All hype on the Honor’s much anticipated smartphone  came to end with announcement of Honor V20 in china today which is the first smartphone to sport an indisplay camera.The first look of the smartphone is revealed at an event in Hong Kong where the company confirmed that it will come with an All-View display,a Kirin 980 SoC,48 megapixel camera and a new technology called Link Turbo.

As said,This is the company’s first smartphone to feature in display camera.Honor V20 flaunts a All-View display with a punch hole on the top left corner of around 4.5mm in diameter. This hole will house a single 25MP selfie camera that eliminates the notch on the front.

On the back,the new handset comes with a glass back with a premium look incorporating a unique V symbols under the glass through nano laser coating process, which means you will see V-shaped patterns on the whenever the panel hits a light .And thee is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.The Phone offered with a gradient paint jobthat is available in Blue, Black and Red colours.

Honor is using a Sony IMX586 CMOS sensor that will use pixel binning technology to merge four 0.8 micron pixels into one to offer a large 1.6 micron pixels.The chipset will offer a 48MP AI HDR mode to offer high definition images. There is also a secondary ToF (Time of Flight) camera on board to obtain depth information.

Price and Availability

The Honor V20 which was launched in China is priced at CNY 2999 (approx Rs 30,000) for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone will also be available with 8GB + 128GB priced at CNY 3499 (approx Rs 35,500), respectively.Honor also launched a special Moschino brand edition of the V20 in China with 8GB + 256GB configuration proced at CNY 3999 (approx Rs 40,000).The company confirmed its global launch will be hosted in in Paris on January 22 where the device will be called Honor View 20.And it is also speculated that we would soon see the smartphone launch in India as well.
