Vivo which is known for its popular V series that packs a futuristic feature at a viable price tag where Vivo V11 Pro is its latest flagship under this series which is more affordable phone that features an in-display fingerprint scanner. The company is now prepping to unveil the successor of V11 Pro.

In an interview with India Today the Vivo India’s Director-Brand Strategy, Nipun Marya confirmed about the launch plans of V11 pro successor V12 Pro in the first half of 2019. At the moment he didn’t hint about details of features and specifications of the Vivo V12 Pro.

We usually launch V series flagship products twice a year, one in the first half and one in the second half. In 2018, V9 was launched in the first half of the year, while the V11 Pro was brought to India in the second half. This time also, we will be launching something in the first half of 2019 and it will be the successor of the V11 Pro,” Marya told the publication.

And he also confirmed that the company is working closely with Qualcomm to launch a 5G smartphone. Vivo will be launching a 5G smartphone in India when the country is ready for the 5G technology, and Vivo will be one of the first smartphone companies to launch a 5G smartphone in India.

For Pricing, the Vivo V11 Pro which was priced at under 30000, So it is expected that the new handset could come with a price tag under Rs 30,000. The Vivo V12 Pro is expected to offer similar design as of the V11 Pro with upgraded hardware and features including a new processor, more RAM, and storage.

As it is too early to comment about upcoming smartphone features and specifications but we can assure that the V12 Pro will be much powerful compared to the Vivo V11 Pro.
