HTC Wildfire R70 launches in India with 16MP triple rear cameras, a 4000mAh battery

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has launched a new smartphone in India, called HTC Wildfire R70. The smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch display, 16MP triple rear cameras, and a 4000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Read on to know more about it.

Unfortunately, the brand has not disclosed the India price of the HTC Wildfire R70. It is launched in Aurora Blue and Night Black color options. At the moment, it is unknown whether the phone will make its debut outside of India.

The HTC Wildfire R70 flaunts a waterdrop notched display. The phone ships with a 6.53-inch  IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. At the back of the phone, there is a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture alongside an LED flash.

The HTC Wildfire R70 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 SoC with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU. It is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The company has given an option to expand the internal storage of the device up to 256GB using a microSD card slot. As for the battery, the handset sports a 4000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

It runs Android 9 Pie OS along with Sense UI. Connectivity options of the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. It features a rear-facing fingerprint reader, and face unlock too. The phone measures 163.2 x 77.8 x 8.9mm and it weighs 186 grams.
