Huawei Mate 30 Series to Launch On September 19; Key Specs, Features We Know So Far

The Huawei Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro is all set to launch on September 19, and Huawei fans are excited to get their hands on the much-awaited smartphone. According to the Russian news site hi-tech.mail.ru, Huawei Mate 30 and it’s Pro’ version smartphones are scheduled for launch on September 19. However, there is no word from the Huawei on the official launch date.

As we mentioned earlier, the report came out from a reliable source. Earlier, we had got to know about the leaked images of Huawei Mate 30 Pro – the smartphones are said to be fuelled by the Kirin 990 SoC.

Ahead of its launch, there have been speculations about some salient features of Huawei Mate 30 series smartphones. It is expected to support 55W charging, under-display fingerprint reader and a notched display.

Furthermore, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is rumored to have two 40-megapixel sensors in a circular camera array on the rear side. According to the recent report, Huawei Mate 30 Lite smartphone could be the first phone from Huawei to run the company’s own and new HarmonyOS.

The source also claimed that Huawei Mate 30 series wouldn’t come with Google’s services installed. Talking about the price, a report from @rquandt suggested that the Huawei P30 Pro may cost EUR 930 (approx Rs. 73,742) for the base 128GB storage. The price will go up to EUR 1,030 (approx. Rs 81,672) for the 256GB storage model. The standard Huawei P30 might arrive with a price tag of EUR 750 (approx. Rs 59,470) for the base 128GB version. At last, the Huawei P30 Lite (128GB) is expected to be priced at EUR 370 (approx. Rs 29,338).

As per the previous leaks, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will sport a massive 6.71-inch display. The smartphone is expected to be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 985 SoC. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has been tipped to come with 8GB of RAM. There is a discrepancy in terms of storage as the smartphone can come with either 128GB or 256GB of built-in storage. The device will have 5G support using Balong 5000 modem. There will be an in-display fingerprint sensor, 4,200mAh battery with support 55W fast charging.

While these are just a report from third party website and the company has not confirmed about the launch, specifications and the pricing, Huawei still has a month to make a statement regarding the Huawei Mate 30 series launch.
