Huawei Nova 6, Nova 6 5G and Nova 6 SE Unveiled: Here's Everything You Need to Know

Huawei’s new Nova 6 series finally been launched after a flurry of last-minute leaks. The company has announced the new Nova series in home country China which include 3 smartphones: Nova 6, Nova 6 5G and Nova 6 SE. Here is everything you need to know about the new Nova 6 lineup smartphones.

Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G Specifications

Both the Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G feature a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an oval punch hole in the top left corner. The cutout houses dual camera setup with a 32MP main shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide secondary sensor which brings a 105-degree field of view. The handset has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which can also be used as the power button.

On the rear, it has a 40MP main camera paired with an 8MP telephoto module with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.

Both 5G and Non 5G variants are powered by the Kirin 990 chipset which is coupled with the Balong 5000 5G modem on the nova 6 5G. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

Both the phones run on Android 10-based EMUI. As far as the battery is concerned, the Nova 6 packs a 4,100 mAh battery while the 5G version gets a 4,200 mAh battery. Both the variants have a 40W Huawei SuperCharge support.

Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G Price and Availability

The Huawei Nova 6 5G comes with a price tag of CNY 3,799 (approx. Rs. 38,450) for the 8GB/128GB variant while the 8GB/256 GB costs CNY 4,199 (approx. Rs. 42,500).

On the other hand, the Nova 6 is priced at CNY 3,199 (approx. Rs. 32,400) for the single 8GB/128GB model. The phones are already up for pre-orders while official sales are scheduled to begin on December 12.

Huawei Nova 6 SE Specifications

Huawei Nova 6 SE boasts a 6.4-inches display with an Full HD+ (2340×1080 pixels) resolution. The phone has a punch-hole selfie camera at the top left corner of the display. Under the hood, the device gets powered by powered by Hisilicon Kirin 810 SoC with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

On the rear, the phone houses a quad-camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP modules (depth and macro). It has a 16-megapixel punch-hole selfie camera.
