Nokia 2.3 Budget Smartphone Launched

Nokia launched the all new successor to Nokia 2.2 that was launched earlier this year. The Nokia 2.3 was launched at an event in Egypt today. The new phone lives up to the expectation of its precursor in terms of budget and has even exceeded few in terms of specifications. Nokia 2.3 is also expected to launch in India soon as it is listed on the company’s Indian website for Rs 5,999.

The Nokia 2.3 is priced at 109 Euros (approx. Rs 8,625) in Egypt and it comes in Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal colour options.

Nokia 2.3 Specifications

Coming to the specifications, the Nokia 2.3 features a 6.2-inch HD (720×1520 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there lays a 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm SoC coupled with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU. It is paired with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and external storage up to 400GB via microSD card. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery. Furthermore, the company has claimed 2-day battery life on the device.

In the camera department, the Nokia 2.3 comes with a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor with an LED flash. It features a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie. For connectivity, the Nokia 2.3 supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB and 3.5 mm headphone jack. It measures 157.69 x 75.41 x 8.68mm and the weight is 183 grams.
