Huawei Nova 8i launched with support for 66W charging

The Huawei Nova 8i is the latest smartphone in Huawei‘s Nova 8 series. In Malaysia, Huawei announced the Huawei Nova 8i in the Malaysian market with a quad-camera setup, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 chipset, and a 4300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

Moonlight Silver, Interstellar Blue, and Starry Black are the colour options available on the Huawei Nova 8i. The device comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity and it is priced at MYR 1,299 (Rs. 23,338) in Malaysia. The phone is already up for pre-orders on Huawei’s official Malaysia website.

This smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch TFT LCD display that features an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels and a 94.7% screen-to-body ratio. In terms of optics, it sports a quad-camera setup. The smartphone features a 64-megapixel primary main camera with an f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The handset has a 16MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 on the front.

In terms of connectivity, it features dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. There is an integrated fingerprint sensor on the smartphone’s power button. It has a 4300mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. Huawei claims that the smartphone can be charged from zero to sixty percent in 17 minutes, and from zero to full charge in 38 minutes.
