Huawei P30 Pro is tipped to come with curved display and water drop notch

So far now we have seen the number of flagships smartphones launch in this year and it is almost end of 2018 where we also look forward towards flagships in 2019. And we have already seen rumours on next flagship of Huawei brand that is P30 about the P30 Pro sporting a still unannounced Sony IMX607 sensor and Pro. Previously there was a rumour on the upcoming smartphone P30 Pro sporting a still unannounced Sony IMX607 sensor. The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are expected to launch in the first half of 2019 to succeed the P20-series from earlier this year.

Surprisingly this phone is not in the list of punch hole devices which are trendy today and this is somewhat strange given the fact that Huawei is about to release two phones with a punch hole in the display for the front-facing camera – the Honor View 20 and the Huawei Nova 4.But thanks to P30 Pro will not be following this trend. Coming to the details, Huawei P30 Pro is reported to debut with a curved display panel featuring a notch design. The upcoming device is also rumoured to come with a 38-megapixel Sony IMX607 sensor that will be powered by Exmor RS image processing technology.

This information has been provided by tipster Ice Universe, who tweeted that the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will not come with a hole in the display. And also claimed that that the Huawei P30 Pro will use a curved OLED display panel that could be manufactured by China’s BOE or South Korea’s LG Display. The display panel is also said to have a notch that could be a waterdrop-style notch, like P20 pro series(predecessor). Huawei notably brought few models like Enjoy 9 and P Smart(2019) in recent times with a waterdrop display notch to move along with the competition.

Tipster Ice Universe notably made the latest claim in response to a concept image posted by Ben Geskin. The image showed the Huawei P30 Pro along with a display hole. It also highlighted four rear camera sensors on the rumoured smartphone.

But this is too early to confirm this fact and so let’s wait to know more real facts about the smartphone bears. The above rumours are taken as a pinch of salt and worth to keep  in mind that these are early reports on the P30 and things can change along the way. We should hear more about the P30-series in the weeks to come.
