Infinix Hot 12 Play announced in India with 90Hz display, 6,000mAh battery

A new budget smartphone called the Infinix Hot 12 Play has been unveiled in India. Priced under Rs 10,000, the phone can be purchased from Flipkart. Infinix Hot 12 Play was launched in Thailand a few weeks ago, and it has now been unveiled in India as the successor to the Hot 11 Play.

Infinix Hot 12 Play costs Rs 8,499 for the sole 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The device will go on sale from May 30 on Flipkart. It will be offered in Daylight Green, Horizon Blue, and Racing Black colour variants.

Infinix Hot 12 Play Specifications

Infinix Hot 12 Play bears a 6.82-inch HD+ TFT display with a 720 x 1612 pixels resolution, 90Hz screen refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 480 nits peak brightness. 

On the inside, the device is powered by an octa-core UniSoC T610 processor alongside a Mali G52 GPU, 4GB of RAM, up to 3GB of Virtual RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. 

It features a triple rear camera setup led by a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary depth lens, and an AI lens. On the front, a punch-hole cutout houses an 8MP selfie camera. It runs XOS 10 based on Android 12 out of the box. 

Furthermore, the device comes with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W Type-C fast charging. The device also has a dual nano-SIM slot, a dedicated microSD card slot, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and DTS surround sound. It weighs 194.9 grams and is 8.32mm in thickness.
