Infinix unveiled their new Hot-series phone in India, the Infinix Hot 8, which has been priced at just Rs.7,999. The smartphone has some excellent features under this price segment. The company has announced an introductory reduced price of Rs. 6999 on the phone till October 30.
Infinix Hot 8 Specifications
Infinix Hot 8 packs a large 6.52-inch HD+ waterdrop notched display with 20:9 aspect ratio and it has a 720×1600 pixels resolution. With its price tag, the phone falls in the budget category and will be available in two colors: Quetzal Cyan and Cosmic Purple. Besides the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB, the Infinix Hot 8 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and is backed by a massive 5000mAh battery. On the software front, the phone runs XOS 5.0 based on Android 9 Pie.
The smartphone also features a triple camera setup on the rear panel. There is a primary sensor of 13-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a third low-light camera sensor. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with AI features for selfies and video calls.
The connectivity features on the Infinix Hot 8 include Dual SIM, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, Micro-USB port, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, face unlock and a rear fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 165×76.3×8.7mm and weigh 179 grams.
Infinix Hot 8 Price in India and Availability
Infinix Hot 8 is currently priced at Rs. 7,999 for the lone 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant. As we mentioned earlier, it will be available in two color variants – Quetzal Cyan and Cosmic Purple. The phone will be available starting September 12 from 12 pm IST. The Infinix Hot 8 is an online exclusive smartphone and can be purchased via Flipkart only. Interestingly, the Infinix Hot 8 will be available at a special price of Rs. 6,999 till October 30.
