Vivo has been long rumored to be launching a smartphone with as many as six cameras. There has been no shortage of leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming smartphone. Now, an image of the upcoming Vivo V17 Pro smartphone is leaked.
If the leaked promo image is real, then it confirms that the Vivo V17 Pro comes with total six cameras, that four of them are placed on the rear whereas the remaining two are housed inside in a pop-up camera module. The promotional image of the Vivo V17 Pro has been leaked by 91mobiles confirms that the phone could be debuting as the world’s first dual pop-up selfie camera phone.
According to the image, the Vivo V17 Pro has a notch-less display, an in-display fingerprint scanner and a wide pop-up camera module with camera lenses can be seen above the display. Based on the image, the smartphone is likely to have rounded corners. However, the rear design of the phone is not clearly visible. Furthermore, the image suggests that the rear-mounted quad-camera system is not placed at the top-left corner. An earlier leaked image had shown that the quad-camera system is placed towards the center of the back panel. The handset’s camera setup is expected to come equipped with enhanced zooming capabilities. The below image shows that the smartphone will be available in two color editions.
Talking about the launch date, there is no clear information regarding this. However, the report states that the smartphone might launch by the end of September. We would have to wait until the launch day to find out if this is all true.
For now, the company is gearing up for the launch of Vivo Z1x smartphone in India and the phone is already confirmed to come equipped with 4500mAh battery and triple rear camera setup.
