iQOO 8 series smartphone spotted on Geekbench

A new flagship smartphone from Vivo‘s sub-brand iQOO will be unveiled on August 17 in China. IQOO will launch two new flagships – iQOO 8 and its Pro model. iQOO has already shared some key details about its upcoming phones ahead of the launch. It is confirmed that the phones will be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 888+ processor. In the meantime, the iQOO 8 series is listed on benchmarking site Geekbench.Iqoo 8 Pro

A new flagship phone from iQOO has the model number V2141A. At the moment, it is not clear whether this is the standard iQOO 8 or the Pro model. Over the next few days, we can expect more details. 

According to Geekbench, the variant has 8GB of RAM. It is powered by a Snapdragon 888+ SoC clocked at 3.0GHz is paired with Adreno 660 GPU. It boots Android 11 out of the box. Depending on the region, the phone will come with a layer of OriginOS or Funtouch OS 11. Furthermore, the device will have a 12GB of RAM variant. It is also said to come with 4GB of extended RAM support. It will support 120W wired fast charging. In the Pro model, 50W wireless fast charging and a 10W reverse wireless charging capability will be offered. 

Furthermore, iQOO confirmed the Pro model’s camera specifications. It’s triple-rear camera setup will include a VIS five-axis anti-shake micro-cloud gimbal stabilization. There will be a 50 MP main camera, a 48 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 16 MP lens with a focal length of 14-60mm. In addition, the device will feature a curved 2K LTPO OLED display with a variable refresh rate support of 1Hz-120Hz.
