After several teasers, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has launched the new Z-series flagship smartphone in China, dubbed as iQOO Z1 5G. Even though the company hasn’t revealed the availability details of the phone outside China, it is expected to announce the iQOO Z1 5G in India soon. iQOO Z1 5G Price
The iQOO Z1 5G is priced at RMB 2,198 (approx. Rs 23,410) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, on the other hand, is priced at RMB 2,498 (approx. Rs 26,600). The top variant with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage comes with a price tag of RMB 2,798 (approx. Rs 29,800). It will go on sale in Space Blue, Galaxy Silver, and Symphony Meteor color options.
iQOO Z1 5G Specifications and Features
The iQOO Z1 5G flaunts a 6.57-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Users will also get an option in the settings to choose a 60Hz or 90Hz refresh rate. The HDR10 complaint display supports DCI-P3 color gamut and features a punch-hole selfie shooter at the upper-right corner. There is also a side-facing fingerprint sensor.
The device is powered by a Dimensity 1000+ SoC with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage of up to 256 GB. The storage is not expandable.
The iQOO Z1 5G flaunts a triple-camera setup at the rear. The primary camera uses a 48-megapixel unit that is paired with a 112-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with 4cm focal length. The front camera uses a 16-megapixel unit. Camera features of the iQOO Z1 5G include Hyper HDR, human eye tracking, low-light, and ultrawide photography, 4K video shooting, and 1080p slow-motion video recording.
Connectivity features include dual SIM slot, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, GPS, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. The device can connect to Wi-Fi 6 and 5G networks simultaneously. It features dual stereo speakers and a Smart PA amplifier.
The iQOO Z1 5G draws power from a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging tech and runs on Android 10-based iQOO UI 1.0. The company claims that the 44W fast charging can charge the iQOO Z1 5G phone by 50 percent in just 23 minutes.
