Lava Blaze entry-level smartphone launched in India

In India, Lava unveiled its entry-level smartphone called Lava Blaze. The smartphone packs rear cameras, a 5,000mAh battery, up to 6GB virtual RAM, and MediaTek Helio A22 SoC.

Currently, the Lava Blaze with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 8,699. The device is available for pre-order on the Lava e-store in India and is available in Glass Black, Glass Blue, Glass Green, and Glass Red colors. 

From July 14, the smartphone will be available online at the Lava store, offline at stores, and through Flipkart. The first 1,000 people who pre-order the Lava Blaze will receive a free pair of Lava Probuds 21 truly wireless earbuds.Lava Blaze

Lava Blaze specifications

Lava Blaze carries a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 720×1.600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a hole-punch cutout. 

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. It has 3GB of RAM, additional 3GB of virtual RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In terms of cameras, it features an AI triple rear camera system with a 13MP primary lens, a pair of two 0.2MP cameras, and also an LED flash. Camera features include HDR, panorama, portrait, beauty, time-lapse photography, etc. It has an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication. The Lava Blaze is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and is claimed to offer up to 40 hours of playback time and 25 days of standby time. 

It runs Android 12. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth V5, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPRS, and USB Type-C.
