Indian smartphone maker Lava launched three new phones under its #ProudlyIndian portfolio on the occasion of India’s 74th Independence Day. The brand has announced Lava Z61 Pro, Lava A5 and Lava A9 feature phones Proudly Indian editions that are priced Rs 5,777, Rs 1,333 and Rs 1,574 respectively.

All these three feature and smartphone will be available across retail outlets and Flipkart, very soon.
Lava Z61 Pro Features

The Lava Z61 Pro is a special edition smartphone launched in champagne gold colour with #ProudlyIndian logo on the back panel. It sports a 5.45-inch HD+ full view display. The handset packs 1.6 GHz octa-core processor and is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB. The phone packs a 3100 mAh battery. While the fingerprint scanner is not present on the phone, is supports face-unlock feature that unlocks the device in just 0.60 seconds.

In terms of optics, there is a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash on the rear and 5-megapixel camera on the front. Camera features on the phone include Portrait Mode (Bokeh), Burst mode, Panorama, Filters, Beauty mode, HDR and Night mode which enables users to click stunning pictures even in low-light. Running on the Android 9 Pie OS, the phone supports connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS, dual-SIM, OTG support and a micro USB port.
Lava A5 features

Talking about the design of the Lava A5 ProudlyIndian edition, it comes with an attractive tri-colour inspired back cover. It has a special ‘Super Ultra Tone Technology’ that ensures no one hears your conversations by providing sound leakage resistance alongside the crystal clear sound experience during calls.

The company claims that Lava A5 has a world’s first AI battery designed by Lava’s own design team. All new Lava A5 features include 2.4-inch QVGA display, dual SIM slots, up to 32GB of expandable storage, 1000mAh battery that is claimed to provide 3 days of backup in a single charge, auto calk recording and call blink notification. The phone is also military-grade certified.

It supports incoming texts in 22 languages and enables users to type in 7 languages. The camera on the phone also supports with zoom and video recording. Other key features of the Lava A5 are instant torch, wireless FM with recording, contact photo icons, super battery mode, USB connectivity and bluetooth support.

Lava A9

Lava A9, on the other hand, features a 2.8-inch QVGA display with keypad that has a dedicated button to turn on the torch. On the rear, there is a tri-colour paint to give the phone unique look. The device gets juice from a 1700 mAh battery that is rated to last more than 6 days on a single charge.

Dual SIM Lava A9 also supports Bluetooth and up to 32GB expandable storage via microSD card. The rear side of the phone is a place for 1.3 MP primary camera with flash. Other features of the phone are call recording, contact photo icons, super battery mode, call blink notification, wireless FM with recording, smart search, alarm, calculator and calendar.

It is also certified by military-grade and the phone is also capable of showing the incoming texts in 22 languages. Users can type in 7 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Gujarati and Punjabi.
