LG Velvet 4G goes official with older Snapdragon 845 SoC

LG has quietly launched the 4G version of the LG Velvet smartphone in Europe. In the country, it will retail for €499. In the US, the phone is priced at $599. We have a 6.8-inch full HD+ Cinema FullVision OLED display on the LG Velvet 4G with 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution and 20.5: 9 aspect ratio. The phone has a unique 3D Arc design with slightly curved edges and it is IP68 & MIL-STD 810G certified for durability.

The back of the phone features a 48-megapixel primary camera. There is also an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. You get a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.

Under the hood, the LG Velvet 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The phone is powered by the Android 10 operating system. The device is kept running by a 4,300mAh battery with support for wireless charging. The LG Velvet 4G will be available in two colors: Aurora Silver and Black. It’s also compatible with LG’s Dual Screen accessory and stylus.
