Motorola is launching a new entry-level smartphone in India in the E-series. The brand has confirmed the launch date for the upcoming Moto E22s smartphone in India. Earlier this year, the phone was released in some countries.

Motorola announced it will launch the Moto E22s in India on October 17. The device will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. Additionally, the specifications of the device have been confirmed ahead of its official launch.

According to Motorola, the E22s features a premium design. It will be available in a single configuration and two color options – Arctic Blue and Eco Black.

As per the official listing, the Moto E22s will have a 90Hz display. The screen measures 6.5 inches and offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a hole-punch cutout for the front camera.

This smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC and coupled with 4GB of RAM. It supports microSD card expansion up to 1TB. Powered by a 5000mAh battery, the device supports 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. 

The dual-camera setup on the rear will include a 16MP f/2.2 primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, there will be an 8MP selfie camera. 

Software-wise, it will ship with Android 12-based MyUX out of the box. In terms of dimensions, the E22s measures 8.49mm thick and weighs 185 grams. The IP52 rating ensures dust and splash resistance. Other features of the device will include a single speaker and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
