Moto G42 launched in India with AMOLED display, Snapdragon 680 SoC

Motorola launched the Moto G42 smartphone in India. The device is built with PMMA material for the body, or acrylic glass for a premium feel, Motorola claims. This 4G smartphone from Motorola comes with Snapdragon 680 SoC, IP52 rated build, Dolby Audio supported stereo speakers and a triple rear camera setup.Moto G42 Launched In India

Moto G42 Price in India, Availability

Priced at  Rs 13,999, the Moto G42 comes in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It will go in India exclusively via Flipkart and the leading retail stores from July 11. There will be two colors available for this smartphone, Metallic Rose and Atlantic Green. 

Moto G42 can be purchased at a price of Rs 12,999 including the flat Rs 1,000 instant discount or cashback on SBI credit cards.

Moto G42 Specifications

Moto G42 comes with a 6.4-inch g-OLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 Colour Gamut support, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The Moto G42 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. MicroSD cards can also be used to expand the storage up to 1TB.

In terms of cameras, the phone comes with a triple camera setup on the rear. The setup on the back includes 50-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It features a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

On the software front, the device runs Android 12 out of the box. The phone also comes with a 5,000mAh battery that uses 20W TurboCharge technology. For security, it comes with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. 

It features Dolby Atmos-supported dual stereo speakers. In terms of connectivity, there are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
