Motorola has announced the launch date for its Motorola Razr 5G phone in India. Motorola has been teasing the arrival of the Razr 5G in India ever since it launched.
The Motorola Razr 5G has been confirmed to launch in India on October 5. It will be launched on Flipkart at 12PM. Motorola’s official Twitter handle confirmed the launch date with a tweet that reads “Infinitely Capable Quick View Display. Ultra-Premium Flip Design. Stunningly Compact. Unveiling on 5th Oct, 12 PM. #MinimalMeetsMaximal #Motorolarazr5G“.
Motorola Razr 5G U.S price is USD 1,399, which translates to Rs 1,02,000. Polished Graphite, Liquid Mercury, and Blush Gold are the three colour options for the phone. Let’s take a brief look at all the specifications of the Razr 5G smartphone.
Motorola Razr 5G Specifications
The Moto Razr 5G bears a flexible screen that folds in half featuring the iconic clamshell design. The secondary screen of the device can be used by touch and it can be used to operate some of the functions of the phone. According to Motorola, the new Razr 5G can withstand up to 200,000 flips.
The phone has a 6.2-inch foldable pOLED display that flaunts a screen resolution of 876×2142 pixels, and 21:9 aspect ratio. There is also a secondary display of 2.7-inch which is OLED and it has screen resolution of 600×800 pixel.
Under the hood, it is paired with Snapdragon 765G processor alongside Adreno 620 GPU. The device packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. However, it lacks microSD card slot for additional storage. In terms of optics, the Motorola Razr 5G sports a 48-megapixel main camera below the secondary display with f/1.7 aperture and OIS, as well as a side-mounted LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it has a 20-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The device boots Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box. Ticking all these is a 2,800mAh battery that supports 15W TurboPower fast charging. The back of the phone is also place for fingerprint scanner.
It also comes with connectivity options like 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.0 Type-C. The Motorola Razr 5G comes with support for eSIM functionality apart from nano-SIM slot. Unfortunately, there is no 3.5mm audio jack on the phone.
It measures 169.2 x 72.6 x 7.9mm when unfolded and when folded the dimension is 91.7 x 72.6 x 16mm. It weighs 192 grams. The IPX8 rated phone has four microphones and features bottom-positioned speaker as well.
