HMD Global has launched another budget phone in India in the form of the Nokia 2.4. Let’s take a closer look at the latest entrant to Nokia’s smartphone lineup.

Nokia 2.4 Price in India, Availability

The Nokia 2.4 is priced at Rs 10,399 and arrives with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone will go on sale through Amazon.in and Flipkart, and at leading retail outlets across India on December 4.

It can be also purchased from Nokia.com/phones starting 26th November. The first 100 customers on Nokia.com/phones placing successful orders between 26 Nov. 12:00 noon IST and 04 Dec. 11:59 pm IST, will also receive a 007 merchandise hamper comprising 007 special edition bottle, cap, and metal keychain.

Nokia 2.4 customers on Jio would be entitled to benefits worth Rs. 3,550. The benefits include instant cashback of Rs 2,000 on the prepaid recharge of Rs. 349 plan and Rs 1,550 worth vouchers from partners. This offer is applicable to new as well as existing Jio subscribers.

Nokia 2.4 Specifications

The Nokia 2.4 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The chip is paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage that is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The Nokia 2.4 runs on Android 10 which is said to be upgradable to Android 11.

The Nokia 2.4 packs a 4,500 mAh battery that claims to deliver 2 days of battery life. The phone sports a 6.5-inch HD+ panel with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone opts for a waterdrop notch for the 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.4 aperture (3P lens).

Additionally, the dual-camera setup on the back includes a 13-megapixel, f/2.2 (5P lens) primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel depth camera. The phone features a dedicated Google Assistant Button and a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

Connectivity options on the Nokia 2.4 include  Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The handset weighs 189g and measures at 165.87×76.30×8.69mm.
