Vivo has quietly launched the Vivo Y1s in India. As a brand new entry in Vivo’s Y series, Vivo Y1s has been launched in India single 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. While the company hasn’t shared any details regarding the pricing and availability, Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom has confirmed that the phone is priced in India at Rs 7,990 and can be purchased in Aurora Blue and Olive Black colors.

Buyers will get the option to lock-in their Vivo Y1s smartphone with the Jio network to enjoy Rs 4,550 worth of benefits. There’s also a 90-day Shemaroo OTT subscription and one-time screen replacement through OneAssist.

Vivo Y1s Specifications

The Vivo Y1s is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and runs on Android 10 with the FuntouchOS 10.5 skin on top. The Vivo Y1s also packs a 4,030mAh battery. The phone also sports a 6.22-inch HD+ panel with a dewdrop notch. The phone has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable via a microSD card.

On the back, the Vivo Y1s boasts a 13MP single camera sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The notch on the screen houses a 5MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture for selfies. The phone lacks a fingerprint reader. Connectivity options on the Vivo Y1s include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset measures 135.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm and it weighs 161 grams.
