Oppo F17, A12, Reno 3 Pro permanent price cut in India: Here are new prices

Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has slashed prices of its smartphones in India. Oppo F17, A12, Reno 3 Pro have received a permanent price cut in India. All the smartphones are available at revised prices on both online and offline retailers.

Oppo F17 was available in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 18,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. You can now buy the same variant for Rs 18,490, after a price drop of Rs 500.

The Oppo A12 is another Oppo smartphone to have its prices slashed. With the latest price cut, the Oppo A12 is now available in India at Rs 8,990 after a price cut of Rs 500. To recall, the phone was launched in India initially for Rs 9,490.

As such, Oppo Reno 3 Pro which was available at Rs 25,990 is now available at Rs. 24,990 after a price cut of Rs 1000. The 8GB + 256GB storage variant has received a price cut of Rs 2,000 and it is now priced at Rs 27,990  down from Rs 29,990.

Oppo F17 Specifications

Oppo F17 is fitted with a 6.44-inch Ultra HD display with a screen resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 665 SoC. In the camera department, it sports a quad-camera setup on the back with a combination of a 16MP primary sensor, 8MP wide-angle sensor, and two 2MP monochrome sensors. 

Upfront, it has a 16MP camera to take selfies. It ships with Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2. A 4,000mAh battery backs the phone with support for 30W fast charging. 

Oppo A12 Specifications

Oppo A12 features a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a 720×1520 pixels resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is fueled by a 4,230mAh battery.

Oppo A12 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a micro-sd card slot. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 out of the box.

As for imaging, the phone is equipped with dual rear cameras with a combination of a 13-megapixel main sensor with f/2.2 aperture,  2-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, the phone has a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the water drop notch with f/2.4 aperture.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro Specifications

Oppo Reno 3 Pro has the same 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. Inside the phone is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. For authentication purposes, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and also a face unlocking system.

In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro has a quad-camera setup that uses the 64-megapixel primary shooter with an aperture of f/1.8. It is supported by a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel mono sensor. On the front is a dual-punch hole design that houses a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Battery-wise, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro has a 4025mAh battery pack with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 technology. The software on the device is Android 10 which is overlayed by Oppo’s proprietary ColorOS.
