After many rumors and leaks, HMD Global has launched the Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 smartphones in India. Here is everything you need to know about new Nokia phones launched in India.

Nokia 5.3 price, availability

Nokia 5.3 is priced at Rs 13,999 in India for the 4GB/64GB model while the 6GB/64GB model costs Rs 15,499. The pre-booking for the Nokia 5.3 starts from today on the Nokia website and the sales will begin on September 1. Charcoal, Sand, and Cyan are the three color variants of the phone.

Nokia C3 Price, availability

On the other hand, the Nokia C3 comes with a price tag of Rs 7,499 for the 2GB/16GB variant and Rs 8,999 for the 3/32GB variant. It will be available in Cyan and Sand color variants. Buyers are also getting one-year replacement guarantee from the brand. There will be pre-booking available for the phone starting September 1, and the sale will start from September 17.

Nokia 5.3 boasts a 6.55-inch teardrop display with HD+ resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

There is a quad-camera setup on the rear that comprises of a 13-megapixel sensor, and a 5-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and another 2-megapixel a depth sensor. It also features a 8-megapixel sensor on the front inside the tear drop notch.


Backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, it packs 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device gets juice from a 4000mAh and the company claims 2 days of battery life with this battery capacity.

As a part of Google’s Android One program, it runs stock Android 10 operating system. The back of the Nokia 5.3 houses a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it also has support for the face unlock feature.

Nokia C3 comes equipped with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution of 720×1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone carries Unisoc SC9863A processor and runs Android 10 out of the box. Fuelling the phone is a 3,040mAh removable battery. The device has a PowerVR GE8322 GPU and it has supprt for micro-SD card.In terms of optics, you get a single-camera of 8-megapixel with an f/2.0 aperture at the back. The phone js capable of recording 1080p video with HDR support. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calling.
