Oppo has unveiled the recently-launched Oppo A53 in India. In India, the Oppo A53 2020 is the first phone to come with 90Hz refresh rate under the Rs 15,000 price segment. It is also the world’s first phone to pack Snapdragon 460 SoC. The phone comes in two variants: 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 12,990 and Rs 15,490, respectively. It will be available from Flipkart starting from today, August 25 at 3 PM. Buyers can choose from Electric Black, Fairy White and Fancy Blue color options.

The Oppo A53 2020 has a waterdrop notch display. The 6.5-inch screen delivers HD+ resolution, 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, refresh rate of 90Hz and 20:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 460 chipset that fuels the device is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 64 GB and it has a microSD card for additional storage up to 256GB.
It has a front camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture and its rear has a 13-megapixel main shooter, a 2-megapixel macro cam and a 2-megapixel depth sensor triple camera setup. The phone has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
The phone ships with Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 skin. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the phone has support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
